
Community Based Day Supports
Community Based Day Supports is designed to provide a group of Members with community based recreational and volunteer activities which will provide pathways to employment and/or to support Members who are employed part-time that need a structured and supervised day program when they are not working that will enhance the benefits of work or allow the Members to pursue interests and develop other skills.
Services may include:
- Community outings – providing a better understanding of community life.
- Vocational Skill Development and Training – through volunteer activities and volunteer work-crew opportunities.
- Development of increased personal interest and hobbies through expose to a variety of community experiences.
These experiences may develop the skills necessary to develop a pathway to employment or to improve work skills for those who are already working in the community.
